and resources are self-paced, self-help oriented. This website
contains all of the tools and resources you should need to
successfully land your next job.
1. The
STRIVE Model - First, you need a plan. With career
transition being one of top 5 stress producing events in life,
no one can expect to walk through this season of life with out
well thought plan. The JMS Strive Model gives you a clear and
distinct six step process to plan and organize your job search.
over 2,500 seekers have used this plan to get their next job. It
is a proven model with plenty of options to custom fit your
personal needs. Get your own copy of the STRIVE Model

2.
JMS Resources - Job seekers needing help with all aspects of
their search can turn to the JMS Resources library
collection of materials and references is provided by the JMS
team of subject matter experts.
3.
Greenlight Groups are small gatherings of JMS participants,
coming together in a small group setting. This allows
individuals to receive more support from their peers. It also
allows people to serve one another during the job transition
period. By giving back to a small Greenlight Group, people add
to their sense of self worth. These groups are formed around
common interests like location or industry specialty.
4.
Personal Job Search Coaching -
through JMS
you can schedule private, one-on-one job search planning and coaching.
This is a fee based service. Several of our
knowledge base experts will participate in this offering. The
package includes an Accomplishments Worksheet, Pre-Resume™,
Résumé,
and Target Worksheet plus job search
accountability plan. Persons wanting to sign up for this
service should call the main
office at 832-789-9567 for more details.
5.
Career Transition - this program is for those employees
who are not yet between jobs, but rather are contemplating
either a forced or "likely to be changed"" job status. With
the material we discuss here, you can prepare yourself for
re-branding in your current job situation. Then, you will be
able to present alternatives to your current employer so
that your knowledge and skill can be effectively transferred
to others thus giving the employer a valuable addition to
their continuity. You will then be competing for an
extension to the employment time line that otherwise may be
in play. Write

6.
Other Outreach >- JMS can provide comprehensive assistance to
churches for developing your own in-house jobs ministry. Our
materials and resources are available through various
subscription/licensing programs. JMS partners with local churches and church
leaders to offer direct support and encouragement to families of
persons with job change impact. Call 832-789-9567 or write
